Temporary Full Closure of Pines Road for Construction
SPOKANE VALLEY, WA— Pines Road, from north of Pinecroft Road to Trent Avenue in Spokane Valley, is scheduled to be fully closed from 6 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, to 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 29.
This work will allow for the future grade separation at Pines Road (SR27) and Trent Avenue (SR290) to move vehicles beneath the bridge for safer and more efficient travel.
A detour will be in place at Pines Road and Mansfield Avenue for those approaching from the south, and detours onto University Road and Sullivan Road for those traveling from the north. Local access will be available between Mansfield Avenue and East Pinecroft Way.
Please be aware that unforeseen circumstances could extend or delay the closure, and the closure is subject to change and reschedule by BNSF, should last-minute changes to the train schedule occur.
