ADDENDUM NO. 1
All bidders are required to base their bid upon the information furnished in this addendum; and acknowledge receipt of this addendum as required in the Contract Documents. The following corrections/modifications are hereby made a part of the Contract Documents.
COVER PAGE
Replace the cover page with the attached cover page from Addendum #1.
PART 1- INTRODUCTION
The Table of Contents is revised as follows:
On page 1 of the Table of Contents, add “Appendix I- Commerce Grant Agreement”.
PART 4 - SPECIAL PROVISIONS
The General Special Provisions are revised as follows:
On page SP-23, add the following new section:
1-07.13 Contractor’s Responsibility for Work
1-07.13(5) Grant Compliance
Section 1-07.13(5) is a new section:
1-07.13(5) Grant Compliance
“The Contractor shall comply with all applicable terms of the State of Washington Department of Commerce Grant Agreement Number 21-96633-125 “Sullivan Park Waterline Installation (Spokane Valley) included in Appendix I and incorporated herein by reference, including but not limited to the following
a. Contractor agrees that neither the State of Washington nor Department of Commerce shall be liable for claims or damages arising from Contractor’s or subcontractor’s performance of this contract; and
b. Contractor agrees not to release, divulge, publish, transfer, sell or otherwise make known to unauthorized persons personal information without the express written consent of Commerce or as provided by law.”
All costs to comply with the grant agreement are incidental to the Contract and are the responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor shall include all related costs in the associated bid prices of the Contract.”
APPENDICES
The Appendix is revised as follows:
Appendix I- Commerce Grant Agreement is added to the Appendix.
In order to incorporate the above noted changes into this project, insert the attached Appendix I from Addendum No. 1 to the Appendix.
CONTRACT PLANS
The Contract Plans are revised as follows:
On sheet 1, General Note 19 is revised to read “The Contractor shall be responsible for all construction surveying and staking per Section 1-05 of the Special Provisions.”
In order to incorporate the above noted changes into this project, remove sheets 1 of the Contract Plans and insert the attached revised sheet 1 from Addendum No. 1.
