Question received from interested party:
When visiting these locations, I noticed there are about 16 - 20 trash containers at Mirabeau Meadows Park. Appendix A notes there are 4 at the restrooms, and 4 at the shelter. I just want to confirm that the contractor is only responsible for restroom and shelter containers, and not the ones located along the pathways or parking areas. Could you clarify for us please?

You are correct – the janitorial and event services contractor is only responsible for the trash cans at the restrooms and shelters, not throughout the park(s). This is for the work that’s included in the lump sum portion of the bid sheet. In some cases, if there is a large community event, additional trash collection could be included in part of a time and materials estimate.
