SPOKANE VALLEY HOMELESS HOUSING TASK FORCE

SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE

 

Notice is hereby given that City of Spokane Valley Homeless Housing Task Force will hold a Special Meeting, scheduled for Friday, September 29, 2023, beginning at 1:00 p.m.  The meeting will be hosted by the City of Spokane Valley and will be held in-person at City Hall, N212 Second Floor Conference Room, 10210 E Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley WA and remotely via Zoom. The purpose of this meeting is to select a Task Force Chair, Select Regular Meeting Dates, discuss the background of the Homeless and Housing Assistance Act and an overview of Spokane County’s 5-year Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness, and for Task Force members to receive Open Public Meeting Act and Public Records Act Training. Members of the public will be allowed to comment in-person or via Zoom. Instructions to attend the meeting via Zoom will be included on the agenda for the special meeting.

Diverse points of view are welcome, but please keep remarks civil. Remarks will be limited to three minutes per person. To comment via Zoom, use the link above for oral or written comments as per those directions. To comment at the meeting in person: speakers may sign in to speak, but it is not required. A sign-in sheet will be provided at the meeting.
