Avista Utilities will host a State Department of Commerce’s Clean Buildings Team for an in-person Tier 2 Rulemaking workshop in Spokane on Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to Noon at Avista Corporation Offices, 1411 E Mission Avenue.
This workshop will include a comprehensive review of all proposed rules and the comments incorporated and collected throughout the rulemaking process. Due to the venue capacity limitation, in-person registration is limited to the first 150 individuals. Attendees can attend in person in Spokane, or register virtually for the program. If attending in person, Commerce will need an accurate headcount. Please indicate in-person or virtual when you register. Click here to register for the workshop. The Washington State Department of Commerce hosted an August 24 Clean Buildings Rulemaking Workshop for Tier 1 Amendments workshop, including new definitions from recently passed legislation, clarifying language, and allowances such as the lighting survey allowances. A recording of the workshop is available and all materials related to the workshop can be found on the Department of Commerce Clean Buildings website.
